Long Term Care Cap to be set at £75,000 effective from April 2017

11th February 2013 by RetireEasy

The Government has finally announced its reform of long term care following the Dilnot report but the proposed cap is, disappointingly, more than double Andrew Dilnot’s recommendation. Mark Soper says  “We all know the Government is strapped for cash but this is woefully short of the main thrust of Dilnot’s report and Government must think this through again”
